My favorite healthy snack is kale chips. They're very easy to make and addicting to munch on (my kids even like them!). Here are the simple steps to make a batch of your own:
^^ Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Wash and dry one bunch of kale. I used Dino kale but curly leaf kale also works great.
^^ Remove the stems and major veins from the kale. Then chop into large pieces.
^^ Toss the kale with about 1 tablespoon olive oil.
^^ Lay the kale out on a baking sheet, ensuring the pieces do not overlap. Bake for 20 minutes or until crisp and slightly browned.
^^ Sprinkle with sea salt and enjoy!
